Over the course of 8 weeks, learn the basics of realism oil painting by applying similar techniques used by the Old Masters. Subject matter chosen is simple yet offers an opportunity to learn numerous techniques and an ability to complete the project within class time: No homework, no drawing skills required! Learn all about values and how to mix various tones, shades, warm and cool hues using a limited palette. Simple colour theory is introduced throughout the course.
