In this course, students will delve into the artistic playfulness of painters like Picasso, the bold colour compositions of Canadian artist Jack Bush, and the unconventional paper cut techniques pioneered by French Artist Henri Matisse, among others. Each week, as they explore theories of Modern Masters in art history, students will engage in in-class projects centered on drawing and learning various collage techniques.
